Inshore Skipper / Offshore Skipper
Sail and get certificate!
Inshore Skipper ISSA certificate can be obtained after our week-long training. It is an amateur rank, which is enough to independently rent a sea yacht for recreational navigation. It basically allows you to sail in all charter bodies of water. A person holding such a certificate should have all the authority to operate independently a sea yacht during the day time in the coastal zone.
Offshore Skipper training and certification are aimed at people with inshore skipper level of knowledge but much more of experience. Offshore skippers are advanced skippers with practice in at least two different waters (e.g. Baltic Sea, Adriatic Sea). They handle the yacht efficiently both by the engine and by the sails, navigate professional and travel on further routes. They are prepared to sail in different weather conditions as well during the day as at night.
We will organize the entire event for you, we provide accommodation on the yacht, the care of instructors, skipper services and training materials. We will take care of the transfer from and to the airport, we will plan it the most interesting possible cruise route. The training will be an opportunity to learn,
obtaining international patents, but also a great form of relaxation and integration for participants.
The Master of Yacht is a certificate confirming sailing skills at a professional level. These certificates are issued to people with the highest level of skills. The error tolerance is lowered to a minimum. Such a person should do great not only with yacht handling, navigation, maneuvers, knowledge of the rules, but also to be good at interpersonal skills. These are truly important matters, because steering a sea yacht is not only about dealing with equipment, but also – and perhaps mostly – dealing with people who sail with you. It’s a certificate for professionals who cannot let down people who trust them. The Master of Yacht certificate confirms the ability to operate sailing yachts with auxiliary engine in sea-going waters for leisure purposes.
